ODM party will embark on massive recruitment of youths in all corners of the country who will spread the party's agenda ahead of 2022 polls, Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati has said.
Among the roles the youths will perform, he said, icludes recruitment of young members who will in return mobilise their colleagues to register as voters.
"The ODM party has gone to the drawing board. There is time to politic and time to lay down serious strategies.
"We shall be recruiting a number of youths in every ward who will work with our officials. In long run, we shall come with a movement that cannot be stopped in 2022," he said.
Asked whether Raila Odinga will retire from politics, Arati said the veteran leader is still strong and capable of beating opponents in 2022.
"Raila is young when it comes to ideas and he resonates well with youths. He can't just retire like that. He is here to stay."
In the recent past, Raila has often dismissed claims that he intends to run for 2022 polls, insisting that he is keen to help President Uhuru Kenyatta perform.
While his role in government remains a puzzle, sources claim that he is serving as AU special envoy, a job which he has secretly taken.
