Media reports indicate that there is a sense of calm at Raila Odinga's Karen home in Nairobi.

There had been rumours that the government would flood his home with police officers to prevent him from leaving.

That is not the case, according to journalists on the ground outside the home.

There are no GSU officers outside Raila's house just calmness.

No journalist has been granted access to the home and nobody really knows what is transpiring inside there.

Guards say they are under strict instructions not to allow anyone access from the man himself, Raila Odinga.

The veteran opposition leader is expected to leave his home to Uhuru Park ahead of the controversial swearing-in ceremony today.
