Tusker FC skipper James Situma is confident the team’s slump will not last too long.
The team was eliminated from the CAF Champions League at the first hurdle by AS Port Louis of Mauritius, and suffered a loss to GorMahia in the KPL Super Cup game.
In a post of his Facebook page, the defender, who was part of the SportpesaAllStars team, said their trained is not derailed but just in a tunnel and with 100% trust, he believes they will get themselves out of the situation they are in.
“When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don’t throw away the ticket and jump off. Sit still and trust the engineer. We trust ourselves 100% and we will be out of this situation. It’s about us,” he posted.
The team will definitely be thankful for the international break as it focuses on better days ahead.
