Six women have been arrested at Chekomos, West Pokot after circumcising their daughters.Six girls, all under 15 years, were arrested during the actArea assistant commissioner Brian Njue said the girls were taken to Kapenguria hospital.Kapenguria OCPD Anthony Wanjuu said the six women will be charged for carrying out FGM.
