Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has been warned against campaigning for Wiper party candidates in Kitui County. NASA affiliate parties from the county have threatened to stop popularizing opposition in if the former Vice President does not cease from interfering with county politics.
The Tuesday ultimatum comes from independent candidates, ODM, Chama Cha Uzalendo, Narc and Ford Kenya. They critized Musyoka for investing his time in Wiper candidates instead of concentrating on national politics.
The group is against Musyoka’s campaign for s six-piece voting pattern in the region. They reminded him that there are a number of numerous NASA affiliate parties that must be given an even playing ground. The faction is led by Narc MP aspirant for the Kitui East Milton Mwendwa, Daudi Kitongo who is eying the Kitui Central parliamentary seat and Chama Cha Uzalendo senatorial aspirant Elijah Kilonzi, they aslo complained at humiliation of former CS Charity Ngilu.
“If he (Kalonzo) does not stop interfering with county politics, we will have no option but to withdraw our support to Nasa,’’ said Mwendwa as quoted by mediamax.
He added that all candidates should be given a level playing ground. They said that they will not back him blindly.
