Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula who also doubles up as the NASA principal has hit on the Central Organization of Trade Unions Secretary-General Francis Atwoli (COTU) for calling them cowards because they did not attend Raila Odinga’s swearing-in ceremony.
He said his utterances were uncalled for and only meant to tarnish their name for his personal gain.
“I want to condemn the utterances by the COTU boss Francis Atwoli with strongest terms possible, I with my two other principals did not shy away from the swearing-in but our decision to skip the event was tactical. We will soon unveil our plans to you,” he said during the burial ceremony of the Eldoret based Human Rights activists Ken Wafula in Likuyani Constituency.
“We are fully behind the people president Raila Odinga and we will continue fighting until we reach the promised land that is Canaan. We were not fools to miss such an occasion,” he added.
He reiterated that sooner or later they will be swearing in Kalonzo Musyoka as the deputy people president of the Republic of Kenya.
“Let me assure Kenyans that as NASA we are still united and we will continue with our core mandate of delivering this country from the hands of thieves who don’t care about the rights of common mwananchi who voted for them,” noted Wetangula.
He, however, called upon the Communication Authority of Kenya to respect the court order of on lifting the ban on three major TV stations.
