Ainabkoi MP Samwel Chepkonga has won the repeat of Jubilee party primaries held on Saturday.
Chepkonga garnered 13, 819 votes against his closest rival William Chepkut who garnered 13,729.
The voting was done at Munyaka primary school where the MP won with the slim margin of 90 votes.
"I am happy with the results," said a happy Chepkonga after being declared the winner.
However, Chepkut's side has claimed that he was rigged out and that the polls were influenced by powerful people in Jubilee to ensure Chepkonga makes it after losing in last week's polls.
The two locked horns in a repeat ordered by the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal.
In the first exercise, Chepkonga lost to Chepkut, garnering only 13,556 votes against Chepkut's 13,685.
