Mathare United right back Martin Ongori has expressed his gratitude after clocking full minutes in his top flight debut as the Slum Boys battled to edge Thika United  3-2 in Thika Stadium on Sunday12 March.

Mangabo, a member of the triumphant  Slum Boys U20s team was among  four youngsters handed the nod for league debut by Francis Kimanzi, a chance he after helping the team off the dream start.

"It felt good to have made my debut today. My appreciation to the club for the ooportunity and my teammates for making it a wonderful day, the youngster took to social media to express his elation.

The defender is among the new faces from the Extreme League where he represented Umeme Sports before being snapped by the 2008 KPL champions. 

Kwown as Cordoba by his peers, Ongori and new signing, Dennis Nzosi, will be tasked with filing the void at right back left by the departure of Bernard Omondi who decamped to Sony.
