The boy identified himself as Emmanuel Miheso, a standard three pupil at Chavavo Primary School lives with his grandmother in Vihigo.

The police source said the boy claimed that his grandmother had urged him to come to Nakuru to look for his mother and that he did not pay any money in the bus.

“According to what he told the good Samaritans it seems that the minor was traveling from upcountry in Western Kenya in search of his other relatives in Nakuru after his grandmother became unable to sustain him,” said Lai.
