Amherst College, an institution based in Massachusetts, United States of America has affirmed that President Uhuru Kenyatta was a former student there.
In a tweet published on the institution's official Twitter account, Amherst confirmed that President Kenyatta graduated from the institution in 1985 with a degree in economics and political science.
“Happy to answer questions directed our way. Uhuru Kenyatta graduated in 1985 with a degree in economics & political science," Amherst College tweeted.
The institution was responding to concerns raised by Kenyans on Twitter who requested for President Kenyatta's higher education results.
Amherst, however, declined to provide pictorial evidence for Kenyatta's graduation, terming the concern as personal.
