Controversial Kitui West MP Francis Nyenze has finally endorsed Opposition alliance NASA presidential line up unveiled last week Thursday at Uhuru Park.

Speaking on Wednesday shortly after meeting with Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, the National Assembly Minority Leader, however, defended his recent outbursts on the choice of NASA's flag bearer, claiming that he was acting in the best interest of his party and the Kamba community.

"Many people had [misunderstood] my stand...I was acting on behalf of the party," the legislator said.

Nyenze had last week expressed displeasure with the NASA deal, claiming that the Kamba community had been given a raw deal in the arrangement.

The NASA deal will see ODM Party leader Raila Odinga fly the opposition's presidential flag, with Kalonzo Musyoka deputizing him.The other three principals who include Amani leader Musalia Mudavadi, Senator Moses Wetangula and Bomet governor Isaac Rutto are poised for senior government positions.
