Speaking on Wednesday at Kisii County when he made a courtesy call to the Kisii Police Commander Mrs Agnes Mudambi office, Mutua said that the moral values need to be addressed to curb the incidents of fires in schools.

Mutua said that they want to collaborate with other institutions in the society to come up with solutions to help students to avoid such incidents in schools.

"We call upon all institutions to join hands so that we can help our youths from the social media degradation which has changed their lives, as the government is busy building the country," Mutua said.

He also said that the unrest in schools is majorly from social media influences.

“We need to come up with solutions on how to regulate and teach our students on how they are supposed to deal with the social media,” said Mutua.

The KFCB boss said they will continue making sure that the moral values are well addressed in the society.

Kisii Police Commander Mrs Agnes Mudambi assured Mutua that they will work together to enact the laws.
