Society Stores Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Trusha Khetia, has revealed plans to open more shopping complex around Kiambu County.
Speaking on Saturday during a grand draw of recently concluded competition dubbed, walk in and drive out, Khetia said that people turnout in the shopping premises is overwhelming.
“There is need to cover more areas. This will help us to take our services near to our customers. It is also a way of creating employment opportunities to young people,” said Khetia.
He said that currently the stores have employed approximately 100 youths. He urged residents to continue supporting them with a promise of making shopping in their store affordable.
“We will be opening more branches in Kiambu County in order to bring services closer to the residents. With your support am sure we are going to make a difference through creation of job opportunities and also serving our clients with timeliness and speed,” said Khetia.
He said that some of the area are too far from Thika and they need to get the goods at their door step.
