The two were killed early this morning by residents for allegedly sodomizing another man early last week.

According to Nakuru OCPD Bernard Kioko, the two men were smoked out of their house after word went round that they were the people responsible for the beastly act.

"The two Paul Muriu and Kimemia Mbugua were suspected to have sodomized the man before inserting a piece of wood on his back and left him," said Kioko.

He added, "Residents went for them from their houses today very early before burning them in a playground in Heshima.”

Kioko who spoke after the incident said that the assaulted man has been treated and discharged after well-wishers helped him to hospital.

He said that the two men had threatened the man with death if he dared reveal their identities.

The OCPD however gave a stern warning to the residents against taking law into their own hands noting that it is illegal.

"Citizens’ arrest is allowed but no one is obligated under the law to take another person's life. Those who will be caught will be dealt with accordingly," Kioko said.
