Sofapaka were held by Bandari in a Sportpesa Premier League match played at the Camp Toyoyo grounds in Nairobi.
Two goals in the dying minutes saw a dramatic end to the league match played on Monday.
Having played for the better part of the game without scoring or conceding, Bandari and Sofapaka looked destined for a barren draw until the 88th minute when Bandari were handed a penalty, well executed by Wilberforce Lugogo.
That lead only lasted seconds before Sofapaka were back on level terms thanks to Charles Okwemba’s accuracy.
The one all draw leaves Sofapaka in 3rd position on the log with 15 points, three points behind leaders Posta Rangers and just a point from second placed Gor Mahia while Bandari sit 9th on 11 points.
The second match of the day saw Kakamega Homeboyz clash with Nakumatt FC at the Machakos stadium.
Neither side was able to breach their opponents defense leaving the two teams with a point each but without a goal, a result that puts the Homeboyz in 10th position on 10 points and Nakumatt moves up to 13th position on just 8 points.
