Sofapaka Fc stand in tactician John Baraza has praised his charges for their hard work after moving to second place jn the log following a hard fought 1-0 win over third placed Tusker Fc on Saturday.
Speaking after the match, Baraza said that Sofapaka had already exceeded their season expectation with the good performance.
"We really struggled last season but this season has been a different story.I think we have exceeded expectations and this is mainly because of the good work put in by the boys in each and every game.Tbe technical bench has equally been up to the task.Overally,the input by everyone in the team is to thank for this feat", he said.
The 2009 champions found themselves in unfamiliar territories last season and had to wait until the final match to know their fate in the top flight league with fears of relegation looming large.
However,they have managed to turn around their destiny this season and could easily maintain their hold to second place should they win their last match against Kericho Zoo.
