It has been a push and pull situation but eventually days after confirming his departure from Mathare United, Wycliff Kasaya has agreed to sign a contract with Sofapaka ahead of the second leg that is set to kick off mid-June this year.
The shot-stopper left the Slum Boys after a two year period with the Francis Kimanzi coached side.

Kasaya is a young star who has played for many Kenyan Premier League teams. He has featured for Bandari, Gor Mahia, Sony Sugar, AFC Leopards, Nakumatt FC, Mathare United and the defunct Red Berets. He happens to have one cap for the Kenyan national team, Harambee Stars.
At Sofapaka, he will fight for a place in the team with captain Mathias Kigonya and reserve keeper Emmanuel Opiyo.
It is a new dawn for Kasaya and he is definitely going places in this beautiful game.
