Kenya Premier League side Sofapaka have landed a deal with sports betting firm Betika.
They have landed a deal worth Ksh50, 000, 000 which will be open for extension.
The unveiling of the sponsorship took place on Friday at a Nairobi Hotel.
Sofapaka have been in financial crisis for the longest time.
According to the club, the unveiling of the new sponsorship is in line with keeping with the pledge made by the club management earlier this month as part of the concerted efforts to conform and comply with the club licensing regulations set by FIFA and CAF, and reinforced by FKF.
Last season, the club narrowly escaped relegation only to be dropped by the Football Kenya Federation after failing to meet the FIFA Club Licensing criteria.
