Sofapaka moved one place up to third following their victory against AFC Leopards in Sunday’s Sportpesa Premier League match.
Batoto Ba Mungu beat Ingwe 2-0 at the Narok Stadium.
Ugandan import Ali Feni was the only man on the score sheets. Feni made the most of a defensive lapse from Leopards’ defenders Robinson Kamura and Salim “Shitu” Abdallah to get into position and beat Ingwe goalkeeper Ian Otieno from close range.
Feni completed his brace four minutes later easily tapping in Willis Ochieng’s cross as Sofapaka got back to winning ways while in the process leaping over Ulinzi Stars on the league table to move to third position.
In another match played at Thika Stadium, Posta Rangers were held to a barren draw by Sony Sugar.
Posta Rangers remain stuck in a performance rut as confirmed by this score that marked their 10 straight match without a win.
Rangers will face AFC Leopards next week away as Sony Sugar tackle Ulinzi Stars at home in Awendo.
