Builders say a house is only as good as its foundation.
They’ll tell you if you want a strong house, you have to go the extra mile when building the foundation.
So is the case in life. If you want to have a good character, a strong personality, you have to have good principles and strong values.
You have to be built on values that are not prone to being blown by the wind you have to be made on those principles that will make you stand strong when life throws the biggest waves at you.
For most parents the most dreadful time is when they have to let go of their children and let them join university.
To most parents this is the most conflicting time of their lives since they know in some way university is a test of character, a test of how good they raised their children.
Most parents therefore end up in a pool of self-pity and regret since they know their kids are inevitably going to drown in the infidelity that goes around in our campuses owing to their lack of principles.
To some parents it hurts the most since they know it’s partly their fault for not setting better examples and not instilling key life principles and values to their young ones.
Foundation is everything, the way you lay down the rules and values to yourself directly determines how high you’re going to go in life.
They say train a child in the way he/she should go and when they are old they will not depart from it.
So build on the inside reinforce on the values and nothing will break you down.
