A sombre mood engulfed the shores of Lake Nakuru on Sunday as the crashed chopper was retrieved from the lake onto the shores.
Families had hoped to find bodies of John Mapozi and Sam Gitau in the wreckage.
Efforts to recover the two have been futile since the chopper crashed on October 21.
Two bodies wehe retrieved two days later on October 23.
A third body, that of Veronicah Muthoni, was to be found almost a month later.
Relatives were overwhelmed by emotions after the chopper was brought ashore after realizing thwere was no body.
Rift Valley regional coordinator Wanyama Musiambu, however, said they will not call off the recovery mission until the bodies are recovered.
