Addressing the public at Githunguri grounds in Ndeiya Ward on Tuesday, Kabogo said some of the MCAs are still babies when it comes to politics.

The Governor said some MCAs are engaging in wars that they themselves cannot win.

“I am sorry to say that most of our MCAs are politically immature and lack reasoning skills,” said Kabogo.

The governor wondered why some MCAs could openly oppose development projects being implemented by the county.

Kabogo said he will not tolerate leaders who are keen to hinder county development plans and implementation.

He urged MCAs in the county to work with him instead of undermining development.

Kabogo added that development resources including funds belong to taxpayers and no leader has influence on that.

The Kiambu boss further said that the county plan to purchase 72 vehicles for Ward administrators must be actualized.

He accused those opposing the plan saying they are enemies of progress and do not deserve to be leaders.

Several MCAs have threatened to oppose the plan where they accused the county government of favouring ward administrators.
