Speaking on KBC English Service Wednesday Morning, Weda who also doubles up as a High Court Advocate claimed that the two could be using the move to give rise to a political alliance beneficial to both.

Citing Moi's presidential ambition, he said the two could end up uniting in a move aimed at forming a stronger bloc to battle it out with other hopefuls come 2022.

''Gideon Moi is slowly making inroads hoping to be the next president. A similar situation exists on Joho's side as the governor, being on the tail end of his gubernatorial tenure, is keen on being in the next government hence their newfound friendship,'' said Weda.

However, he faulted the approach, advising Moi to go straight to the people.

''He is trying to build a profile through big names which is a wrong move. He should prepare himself for his future endeavors by establishing a good relationship with the people down here,'' the lawyer said.
