Governor Anyang' Nyong'o of Kisumu county was ranked best out of the three with a percentage of 56 which is equivalent to a C+, Mombasa Governor, Hassan Joho was ranked second best with a percentage of 53 which is equivalent to a C and at the third position was Nairobi governor Mike Sonko with a lesser percentage of 44 which is equivalent to a D+.

This was apparently too low for Sonko as many never imagined of 44% for him.

Sonko spoke to journalists later during the day and admitted that he deserved the low grade but promised Nairobians an improvement next time the study is conducted.

"In the poll that was done by Tifa, we were ranked number last. We accept that position, but don't forget that this is the same Tifa that conducted a poll and claimed that I won't be the Governor of Nairobi, today I am standing here as the governor of Nairobi," said Sonko.

He made the remarks during a media briefing at City Hall on the progress made by the Nairobi Regeneration Committee.

The committee is a joint effort by the national and county government to regenerate Nairobi within the coming six months and its heads are Sonko and Tourism Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala.

The committee announced that it had managed to process 53000 title deeds so far, which would be handed over to owners by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
