Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko's rescue team together with Kameme FM presenter Njogu Njoroge came to the rescue of an ailing Njoro woman after her plight was highlighted on media.

The woman has been suffering from a paralysis something that forced her husband James Mburu quit his job to take care of her.

Ndungu Nyoro who has being spearheading her rescue thanked Sonko and Njoroge for their generosity.

"Nairobi Senator has also pledged to pay the required deposit at the hospital. Through well-wishers, we managed to raise Sh 733,620 for her treatment. I am very grateful to Njogu Njoroge (Kameme Fm) for highlighting this story during his morning program,"he said.
