Speaking during a press conference of the Nairobi Regeneration Committee, Sonko noted: 'My brother Tobiko and I have no personal issues, we are friends and we are working together. Whatever that happened the other day was not caused by Tobiko and you all know who is undermining me, 'said Sonko.

Sonko was echoed by the CS Keriako Tobiko who confirmed that indeed they had no personal issues and they were working together to benefit Nairobi residents.

"I have absolutely nothing personally towards his Excellency Governor Mike Sonko and any differences of opinion is nothing personal. We talked about that this morning and we resolved to work together," said Tobiko.

The CS further requested the people of Nairobi to support them and their projects that they intend to establish in order to develop Nairobi.

Tourism CS, Najib Balala affirmed that the differences between the two had been resolved for the well being of the country. 'Nairobi will always be first and our differences second,' he said.

On Saturday, Tobiko who had been allegedly tried to cut out Sonko from making an address failed when Sonko grabbed the microphone and started making his speech during the National tree planting day. This forced DP Ruto who had stood up to make his speech to seat down and let Sonko speak.
