Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s dishonourable behaviour during a burial ceremony in Machakos on Friday has landed him in trouble.
The Director of Public Prosecutions, Keriako Tobiko, has ordered the Police to immediately interrogate him after he declared himself the acting President of Kenya at the function.
Tobiko termed the senator’s behaviour “disruptive”, in a memo sent to the Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet.
The burial was for Dolamu Oduwole, the husband to former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti.
