Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has been infuriated by an advert that was put on newspaper without his knowledge.

To make matters worse, Sonko said the advert had serious grammatical errors to 'embarrass him'.

A video posted online shows an infuriated Sonko telling off a Mike Makau over the advert.

"You put spelling errors on the ad so that I look like I do not know English. You should apologise or I will take you and nation to court,”

 said Sonko.

The Nairobi Governor threatened to sack an employee of the county who is said to have given the advert without Sonko's, or his deputy's knowledge.

"That Mercy must go home. Don't bring jokes at work," Sonko says.

Makau, through the governor's phone on loud speaker, is said trying to cool down Sonko.

He promises to ensure the paper carries and apology.
