Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has now focused his energy towards fighting insecurity in the country

Together with his Deputy Polycarp Igathe, Sonko met with county security chiefs

Where they were urged to work hard to contain crime.

During the Tuesday evening meeting, Sonko revealed that he had been receiving complaints from some residents concerning crime in their areas.

"Held talks with the Nairobi County security team. I am committed to building strategic partnerships with all stakeholders to transform Nairobi," he confirmed the meeting through his twitter account.
