Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has been put on the spot for failing to clean the city as he had promised during his campaigns.

Nairobi governor has been accused of failing to chase away hawkers from the CBD. Many people on Thursday 2nd November people from his county took to the social media to condemn  his empty promises.

"This is the CBD you promised? Kenya archives is now a market. Where are the footpaths meant for pedestrians or should we fly?" Joel, a blogger, wrote.

"Dear Council of Governors please summon Mheshimiwa Sonko because Nairobi is even much confused than before," Rufas KK, another blogger, said.

"Governor Mbuvi Sonko you first obligation was to make Nairobi thrive but you are allowing CBD muggers to excel," Kuria Mapesa tweeted.
