Borabu MP Ben Momanyi has yet again found hinself at crossfire with Nairobi governor Mike Sonko, just two weeks after the two clashed.
At Milimani Law Courts, Chief Magistrate Edna Nyaloti quashed orders obtained by Ondabu and Company Advocates that compels City Hall to pay Sh6.2 Million for printing materials supplied.
The flamboyant governor has yet again dragged Momanyi to the saga, where he claimed he colluded with the law firm to erroneously draw money from City Hall.
Last week, Sonko took the MP head-on when he demanded he refunds Sh58 million which was paid to the legislator's law firm in a case he represented Nairobi County.
In his argument, the Jubilee governor said the court had reduced Sh60 million paid to the MP to just Sh2 million thus his decision to demand the excess amount paid.
But the latest clash between the duo shows a deteriorating relationship between an advocate and client with Momanyi accusing Sonko of political witch hunt.
While Momanyi maintains his innocence, Sonko claims that he entered into consent with General Suppliers Limited, while acting on behalf of the county without permission by his clients.
