In a rare twist of politics in the country, Jubilee governor for Nairobi Mike Sonko has turned around and heaped praise on former NASA flagbearer Raila Odinga.

In a Facebook post, Sonko appeared to praise Raila after he shared a photo of the two of them sitting together.

"Wacha Baba aitwe Baba," he said.

Previously, supporters of Raila have had a bitter bone to chew with Sonko owing to his strong pro-Jubilee stand.

They accused Sonko of disposing sewage at the Soweto Grounds in Embakasi on a day the opposition was to have a key rally.
