Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has asked the young generation to always stay focussed to their course and not give up in life.
Speaking through his facebook page, the governor posted photos of himself struggling in the past and contrasted them with what he is today.
In the photos, there is a slim and poorly dressed Sonko walking at what appears to be a port.
There is also another photo of him clad in a hood and still 'hustling' to make ends meet.
"This my message this Sunday to all of you. Never give up in life no matter how difficult it may be. Just believe in God and pray tirelessly one day He Will answer your prayers and a miracle will happen to you," he said.
An ambitious Sonko has risen in ranks, starting as Makadara MP to Nairobi senator and now serves as the governor after just one term.
There is word that he could be targetting to go for presidency once his stint at City Hall expires.
