Nairobi Jubilee Party gubernatorial hopeful Mike Sonko has commended Charles Njagua Kanyi alias Jaguar, following his issuance of certificate.

Jaguar, a local artist, who seeks to be Starehe MP, on a Jubilee ticket, had contested a ruling that saw incumbent area MP Maina Kamanda, declared winner, saying he was rigged out.

During the just concluded primaries, Jaguar was seen as the leading, as per the number of votes cast, in almost all polling stations.

The Jubilee Party Appeals Tribunal, led by Faith Waigwa, later announced Jaguar as the ideal winner of the race, issuing him a nomination certificate, Wednesday, after days of appeal.

''Let me take this opportunity to congratulate my friend Jaguar for clinching the Jubilee's Starehe parliamentary certificate,'' Sonko said.''It wasn't an easy job some of us were referred to as "dogs" by the tribal cartels but all the same we believe that Kenyans we are one. God we thank you for this big miracle. Thank you the Great people of Nairobi as well for standing with us,'' concluded the Nairobi senator.
