Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has said that he is not in the capacity to decide whether to work with his former deputy Polycarp Igathe again or not.
He was responding to a question where he had been asked if there were chances of him reconciling and liaising with Igathe for the betterment of the county.
Sonko said that that was a matter not entirely in his hands to decide.
He said he would consult Nairobians and work with what they told him to do.
“What dialogue? Those are issues that I cannot address here. They concern the people of Nairobi and I will talk about them when I get there. I cannot decide now,” he said.
Igathe resigned last week owing to what he said were poor working relations between him and the governor.
He accused Governor Sonko of not trusting him in their mandate to serve the city.
