At Buruburu Girls on Saturday, Sonko asked students to stay focused adding that those who perform poorly have a room to improve.

"Never lose hope in life. In my days at school, I was naughty and did not do well. I scored a C+ with a clean E in mathematics," he recalled.

Sonko, who has since done degree in Business Administration added: "You might score low grades in your lower classes but don't let that define who you are."

In fact, during last year's Nairobi gubernatorial debate, Sonko admitted that he was not 'learned' and that he could allow his former deputy Polycarp Igathe manage the city.

While addressing a function in suburbs of the city, Sonko fired at his 'learned' County Executive Committee members, asking them to use their education to transform the city.
