Nairobi county governor hopeful Mike Sonko has threatened to leave Jubilee party if party nominations will not be free and fair.

Sonko who is also the Nairobi senator while speaking in Njoro said that he will still remain loyal in the Jubilee party ahead of the August elections.

"We all hope that the Jubilee Party will conduct free and fair party nominations. I am firmly in Jubilee party and the party should not issue a direct ticket to any candidate ahead of the coming polls," he said.

He added that Nairobi people deserve a better governor who will change the lives of people living in the slums with provision of quality services.
