Nairobi county Jubilee governor aspirant Mike Sonko is set to launch his manifesto on Sunday, July 23.
According to the Standard, Sonko failed to launch the manifesto on July 16 as earlier planned to give the country time to mourn the fallen leaders.
He said in a statement that it was only right to let the country heal before he could embark on his ground-breaking launch.
The launch is expected to be attended by president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto, among other Jubilee party leaders.
Sonko is seeking to unseat incumbent governor, Evans Kidero in August 8 elections.
Sources revealed that Sonko's manifesto will deal with issues such as health, housing, land, traffic jams, schools, water, sanitation and reduce business fees for traders as well as licenses if elected on August 8.
