Nairobi County boss Mike Sonko says he is not interested in security details weeks after the government withdrew 13 of his guards.

The flamboyant city politician returned from Machakos over the weekend days after claiming his life was in danger.

And in a jibe directed to President Uhuru Kenyatta, Sonko said he does not guards to survive.

"I am not the first to lose guards. Even Raila Odinga and Hassan Joho have been victims but they are strong.

"If they think taking my guards is the solution, let them take all of them," Sonko fired warning to the State.

While does not directly the President to his woes, Sonko has however accused the presidency of orchastrating his woes.

Particularly, he has openly accused Interior PS Karanja Kibicho of being used to antagonize him.

Further, he said, he will continue working with the president despite the shortcoming.
