Intimidation by President Uhuru Kenyatta handlers precipitated Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko to nominate controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna as his deputy.
For weeks now Sonko has been at loggerheads with State House with Interior PS Karanja Kibicho being on his black list.
And at Jacaranda on Wednesday, Sonko openly told Uhuru at his face that his decision was informed by persistent fist fight staged by his handlers.
"Your Excellency do not be scared by my decision to nominate Miguna Miguna. I nominated him because of intimidation by your people," he said.
But a furious Uhuru dismissed Sonko's statement adding that he cannot be intimidated by anyone.
"I want to tell Sonko that I cannot be afraid of anyone be it Miguna Miguna. I respect all Kenyans nonetheless."
