Kenyans on social media have yet again poked holes on Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's intellectual competency,  with a speech believed to have been plagiarized taking center of discussion.

A week ago, Sonko's blunder in speech during Jamhuri Day, when he erroneously referred to First Lady Margaret Kenyatta as Ngina Kenyatta also dominated social media ridicule.

And a speech believed to have originated from HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid was reportedly plagiarized by the stylish city boss in his delivery at a strategic plan meeting on Wednesday.

"This is the problem of electing academic bigots at the expense of intellects," wrote Vincent Osumo on Nyamira WhatsApp.

Another user, Oindo Kevin added: " He can do well in dumping human waste in NASA rallies and not delivering competent speeches."

During his campaigns, Sonko, a former senator, said he would only 'handle politics' and leave matters management to his deputy, Polycarp Igathe.

The speech has been widely criticized with his communication team blamed for incompetency.

Unlike the speech blunder during Jamhuri Day, none of city official is yet to defend the plagiarism allegations.
