According to Sonko, Kalonzo has no position in Cord thus he should leave the coalition as soon as possible.

The outspoken senator warned Kalonzo against being used and then dumped by the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Speaking at a church service held in Mutituni in Machakos, Sonko called upon Kalonzo to join the ruling coaltion for the sake of his political career.

“We should not allow ourselves to be used and dumped and we call upon our brother Kalonzo to ditch Cord and consider working with Jubilee ahead of the next General Election,” stated Sonko.

The flamboyant senator has joined other leaders from Ukambani to persuade Wiper Leader to part ways with Raila before the next general.

The church event was also attended by the deputy president William Ruto. Other leaders who have urged Kalonzo to quit include Victor Munyaka (Machakos Town), Regina Ndambuki (Kilome), Vincent Musyoka (Mwala), Benson Mbai (Masinga), Kisoi Munyao (Mbooni), Moses Kuria (Gatundu South), David Kareithi (Tigania West), Kanini Kega (Kieni) Joseph Kahangara (Lari).

This news comes at a time when Kalonzo is touring various regions to popularize his party.
