Speaking in Mombasa's historical Tononoka Grounds on Sunday, Sonko said that the  party has a structure to ensure that it retains power until both President Uhuru and DP Ruto finish their two-term tenure on the throne.

''We have a structure, in 2017 we will re-elect President Uhuru to finish the job he has started and then Ruto will take over in 2022 for two terms until 2032,'' he said.

The senator has also hailed the structure saying that it will go a long way into eradicating tribalism and division as it clearly spells out the plan and therefore there will be no disagreements and conflicts during campaign times.

This is in line with DP Ruto's earlier pledge where he vowed to support President Kenyatta's re-election bid in the next polls slated for August 2017, and go for the office in 2022, a decision that has been well received by the other leaders affiliated to the Jubilee coalition.

Mt Kenya region leaders have vowed to give him full support when the time comes as a token of appreciation for his loyal support to President Kenyatta who hails from the region.

The leaders have started working towards achieving the goal by dissolving smaller parties in the Jubilee Coalition to make the bigger Jubilee Party, a move aimed at collecting all the support from the smaller parties into one basket ahead of the polls.

However, the structure is likely to face a stiff competition from the opposition block which is also preparing to create a mega alliance aimed at ensuring that the Jubilee 20 year term plan remains a dream.

The National Super Alliance (NASA) spearheaded by former Deputy Premier  Musalia Mudavadi is anticipated to bring together all the opposition bigwigs in a bid to cut the Jubilee administration circuit.
