Senator Mike Sonko’s daughter Saumu has hit the headlines once again after penning a heartfelt letter following the birth of her daughter.
Saumu, who broke up with her boyfriend Ben Gatu could not hide her joy after delivering on Thursday at a Nairobi Hospital.
In her message, Saumu prays to God to take care of her daughter, adding that she grows up to be religious.
Saumu posted: “My daughter, my love, my little angel, my princess.You don’t know the joy you have brought in my life. You are an angel sent from above. You have filled my life with so much happiness. I have more reasons to believe how wonderful God is. You are the only one who knows how my heart beats from the inside. I promise to love u with all my heart, be there for you whenever you need me,” she wroted, as quoted by Ghafla.
She added: “May the Good Lord give me strength and wisdom through this new phase of life. And may you grow out to be a God-fearing lady. Mama loves you so much Sasha.”
Her father also expressed his joy after the birth of Sasha despite the traumatic times she went through after breaking up with the man she loved most.
Saumu and Ben attended different political events before their relationship hit rocks.
