The Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has promised city residents that he will deliver pledges he made during the campaign period and that his office is working closely with the National Government to fulfill this promises.
"In the coming days, you will work being done. Roads are being repaired and garbage collected," he said.
Sonko was speaking at the Iftar dinner which he hosted at Charter hall Nairobi on Wednesday evening.The event was attended by the Deputy President, William Ruto and former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka .

Sonko has recently been on the spot for poor performance .
