Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has congratulated kenyan lawamkers who were elected and sworn in to East African Legislative Assembly (EALA).Simon Mbugua was selected as the Chairperson, Kennedy Kalonzo ad the vice chairperson and Florence Jamatiah as the secretary. "Congratulations to all Hon Members of Kenya chapter in EALA for being sworn in today (Monday). Kenya chapter Elected Simon Mbugua as the Chairperson, Kennedy Kalonzo as the Vice Chairperson and Flowrence Jamatiah as the Secretary," Sonko tweeted on Monday.Other candidates who were in the assembly include Raila Odinga's brother Oburu Oginga, Abdikadir Aden and Fatuma Ibrahim, Mpuri Aburi and Wanjiku Muhia.EALA is an organ of the East African Community founded in 2001 charged with the mandate of representation and legislation. The assembly consists nine elected members from each participating states.
