Nairobi senator Mike Sonko’s outburst on live television proves how the flamboyant gubernatorial aspirant fears the cool Peter Kenneth. Sonko chose to use the whole show to insult PK and other people he thought were against his gubernatorial bid. He launched a verbal attack on Jubilee party officials and even controlled his host.
“I have a lot of bitterness with this guy. He should have a rally and apologize to me, Mama Ngina Kenyatta and my wife for the tears we shed. I am not going to accept Kenneth as my running mate or be his deputy. Let him feel our pain of 2013 when he did not support President Uhuru Kenyatta,” Sonko said as quoted by Kenyans.
This is just part of the string of character assassinating claims the senator made against PK. It is now evident that his (Sonko’s) roar is never heard all over Nairobi and Jubilee as it used to be. Peter Kenneth has invaded what Sonko thought was rightfully his forcing him to call his competitor a corrupt chewing gum guy. Nairobi’s number two claimed that Kenneth had swindled a certain company huge sums of money thus he is not fit to take over after Kidero.
Sonko is now a captive in his own home. Kenneth is an able opponent that makes Sonko freeze. His fear was unveiled through his rant.
