It has been revealed that Nairobi senator Mike Sonko's son-inlaw, has entered politics.
The Jubilee lawmaker's daughter, Saumu, delivered a baby girl, two days ago.
The father, Benson Gatu is however yet to marry Sonko's first child, since they ended relationship.
In an interview after Sonko became a grandfather, he said he held no grudge with Gatu, and revealed he was eyeing a parliamentary seat in August.
According to him, he sees him as someone who messed up in life, and should be helped to rectify his mistakes.
"I have no problem with the person who messed up with my daughter. Even though they did something bad, we should accept them and help them grow. The boyfriend is vying for a parliamentary seat and I love him. This things are normal in life,'' he said, Friday.
It is however not yet clear which Constituency he is seeking to be an MP.
