Nairobi governor has send a stern warning to ghost workers and contractors who thrive on bribes in the county operations that their days are over.
While posting on his twitter account the county boss said his administration will take strict measures to identify genuine contractors and ensure they are paid promptly.
"To those with fake claims and the cartels...please keep off before the long arm of the government gets hold of you," reads part of Sonko's post.
Sonko gave toll free numbers where county residents can send any reports on fake contractors, suppliers and county staff they are as follows DCI, EACC or send details to him on 0722 886600, and 0727 447777.
