Kenya Premier League (KPL) side Sony Sugar has played out to a barren draw against Muhoroni Youth, in a friendly match played on Wednesday.
The match was staged at the Awendo Green Stadium.
Sony Sugar team manager Emmanuel Geno hailed both teams for playing well.
"It was a good and balanced match, both teams had good displays. So I would say the result was fair. The team played well generally and it is a good way to keep fit as we await the league kick-off. We will play more matches as the team continues to blend, since we have newly signed players who have to fit in the coach's system," said Geno.
He also stated that the build up matches were part of the team’s preparation ahead of the new season.
